I created Totally Untethered while living out of a backpack and running my business from different countries. As a solo traveler, I was constantly frustrated by overpriced roaming fees, cumbersome SIM cards, and the anxiety of relying on Wi-Fi just to find a hotel or book a ride.

I wanted something better. So I built it.
